Assembly and installationThe face plate (connection of the sundial to the base) should lay flat on the base with its entire 80 mm diameter. The face plate can be leveled with 3 screws in longitudinal and transversal direction. It is fastened to the base with additional 3 screws. The adjustment plate itself is connected to the horizontally mounted face plate with 3 screws and an elongated hole. Thus, it is possible to make a rotation in the azimuth angle (horizontal axis) of approx. +/- 15 minutes for the fine adjustment. The sundial is fastened to the adjustment plate by means of a central screw that is then covered with a protective cap. |
